Refer an eligible client in Queensland
This page sets out Shield & Rebuild's official referral eligibility and secure referral pathway. Referrals may be made only by authorised representatives of recognised charities, police and government bodies for eligible clients in Queensland. Shield & Rebuild does not accept self-referrals.
Safety first: If there is immediate danger, call 000. The referral pathway is not an emergency response.
Official referral eligibility
Who may make a referral
Shield & Rebuild considers direct assistance for eligible referred clients in Queensland only. A referral may be submitted only by an authorised representative of a recognised charity, police service or government body.
Shield & Rebuild does not accept self-referrals. A referral is considered individually and does not guarantee assistance, funding, a service or a particular outcome.
Current capability
Electronic security and security upgrades
Shield & Rebuild's current specialist capability is electronic security and security upgrades, including CCTV, alarm and access-control systems and related security solutions.
Where appropriate, broader practical needs or counselling and psychological support may be explored through appropriately qualified external providers. These pathways depend on the individual assessment, provider availability and available funding. Shield & Rebuild does not directly provide electrical work, building work, counselling or psychological services.

Use information with care
Use the Client Assistance Form and keep information necessary
Use the current Client Assistance Form and provide only the information needed for an initial assessment. Identify the referring organisation and authorised representative, the client's Queensland location, a concise description of the relevant practical safety concern, and safe contact information where appropriate.
Avoid unnecessary detailed case notes, medical or counselling records, passwords, account credentials, banking information, identity documents, private digital evidence or information about other people unless the current form specifically requires it or it is later requested through the appropriate secure process.
